If you missed the first race, don't worry. The next club race will be on December 20th, 2008. Points for Stock (27t/17.5 BL), GT2 (19T/13.5 BL), and Mini (Tamiya spec) are still up for grabs.
OverGeared Racing 2008/09 Winter-Spring Point Series Rules:
Race Classes:
Stock (27T/17.5 BL) Rubber tires only
GT2 (19T/13.5 BL) Foam tires only
Mini (Tamiya Spec M-03/M-04) Rubber tires only
Motors:
27T/19T brushed motors must have locked end bells
Only 540 Mabuchi silver cans allowed for Mini Spec. (Kit motor)
Batteries:
Lipo batteries must be encased in a manufactured hard case.
Lipo batteries must be charged in a Lipo Sack for safety purpose. This will be enforced in the driver pitting area.
Mini drivers using Lipo's must use lead weights to bring the car up to weight specifications.
Minimum weight restrictions:
Stock (27T/17.5 BL) - 1525 grams
GT2 (19T/13.5 BL) - 1418 grams
Mini (Tamiya Spec) - 1400 grams
Traction Compound:
Corally (Jack the Gripper)
Niftech
TQ Orange
TQ 8
Paragon traction compound is not allowed.
Race format:
5 minutes qualifiers for all touring and mini.
Minimum 2 qualifiers (time depending) and mains to follow.
